  • Unibet Poker has increased the guarantees for its daily MTTs
  • The new changes will also lower the rake for certain tournaments and benefit recreational players
  • The operator is also running weekly leaderboards which offer €100K in extra prizes

Unibet Poker has continued to come up with exciting offerings to grow its customer base, with greater focus on casual players.

The operator recently announced new changes to its multi-table tournament (MTT) schedule which will surely delight the recreational players. They will now enjoy boosted guarantees plus lower rakes in a move that will enable Unibet Poker to keep up with the current demand and trends.

Bigger Guarantees, Lower Rake

Under Unibet Poker’s revamped MTT schedule, rake in all bounty tournaments have been reduced to just 4.5% – 4.8%, which is significantly lower than other online poker rooms where bounty tournament rakes are usually twice as high.

Players on Unibet Poker will also be competing for bigger prizes each day as the operator has increased the guarantees on its daily tournaments. Before, the site’s largest guarantee was €4,000. Now, there are tournaments sporting guaranteed prize pools of €5,000, €6,000, and €10,000. The operator plans to make further adjustments to the figures in the months ahead, meaning players can look forward to even bigger guarantees, according to the site’s Poker Product Manager.

Unibet has also modified the schedule for its daily majors so that they conclude by 1:00 a.m. CET/CEST which is great news for recreational players who have day jobs. The MTT schedule also now contains more bounty events but fewer add-ons which is beneficial for the casual players, as the more experienced ones won’t be able to max late reg all the time, a feature that gives them an unfair advantage over the recs.

The revamped MTT schedule is filled with lots of interesting tournaments, but what will likely attract the most attention are the following: The Title Fight (€50 buy-in, €10K GTD Daily PKO), The Ironman (€10 buy-in, €2.5K GTD Daily Deepstack ), Fight Club (€100 buy-in, €10K GTD Sunday tournament) and The Slobberknocker (€100 buy-in, €7.5K GTD Thursday Bounty event).

The revamped MTT schedule will be fully rolled out by October 24.

€100,000 Up for Grabs via Weekly Leaderboards

Unibet Poker is marking the rollout of its new MTT schedule with a leaderboard promotion that comes with €100,000 in extra prizes. Each week, the site will run leaderboards covering both the High (awards €6,000) and Low (awards €2,500) stakes. Whoever wins at poker and tops the overall standings for each week will also take home €1,500. This means there’s €10,000 in prizes to be won each week via the weekly leaderboards. This promotion runs for 10 weeks.
