WSOP.com Summer SeriesFollowing the success of the first part of the 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online Bracelet Series on WSOP.com, the online platform is hosting yet another massive festival that comes with more than $3 million in guarantees! The Summer Series got underway on August 2 and will run through August 23, featuring a total of 85 events, spread across two weeks of exciting online action.

Players can choose from a wide range of buy-ins, starting from as low as $5, all the way up to $1,000, with the poker games schedule mostly made up of No-Limit Hold’em events.

But if you’re an Omaha lover, there’s something in store for you as well, as the festival also features six Omaha tournaments, played as a freezeout, knockout, rebuy, deepstack or super turbo. A few high roller events have also been sprinkled in, offering up to $100,000 in guaranteed prize pool.

The series culminates in the Main Event which takes place on the final day of the festival and is set to give away $200,000 in prize money! The $525 buy-in event will see players kick off the action with 15,000 in starting chips, played in 15-minute levels.

There’s absolutely no shortage of chances to win big in the event as unlimited re-entries are permitted. Apart from the top prize, the Main Event winner will also walk away with the prestigious Champion’ belt!

With just over a week into the festival, over $800,000 have already been awarded thus far, across 16 events. The Sunday Special was able to smash its $150,000 guarantee after a total of 412 players took part in the event, generating more than $200,000 in total prize pool.

Big Year for WSOP.com

WSOP.com currently has one of the most active and vibrant tournament space, with at least one series running each month. In fact, the online platform has hosted eight different tournaments for the past eight months, beginning with the New York Kickoff, and then followed by the Winter Online Championships and the WSOSP Online Circuit in February.

The site also played host to the WSOP Online Super Circuit Series, the Spring Online Championships, Money May Series, and the WSOP Online Finale Circuit Series. The Summer Series is the ninth tournament series to take place at the site, and follows on the heels of the WSOP Online Bracelet Series.
