The WPT Montreal is once again returning to the Playground Poker Club this year! The poker festival returns to the Canadian venue for the eighth time and will run from October 20 to November 4, with more than $5 million in guaranteed prize money up for grabs!
The main highlight of the festival is the $3,300 buy-in WPT Main Event, scheduled for October 29 to November 2, offering at least $3 million in guaranteed prize money. Apart from this, players can also take part in six other major events including the $500,000-guaranteed WPTDeepstacks on November 1-4, and the $1 million-guaranteed WPT500 on October 21-28.
There will also be a Ladies Event on October 26, as well as a Freeze and a Bounty on October 5 and November 3, respectively. Each of these events carries at least a five-figure prize pool. A $5,300 High Roller event which runs for three days on October 28-30 will also provide added fun and excitement to high-stakes aficionados.
Playground
The festival begins with a series of starting flights online for the WPT Main Event and the WPT500. Players are allowed unlimited re-entries for all WPT500 starting flights. partypoker will once again host the online action on October 20-24, which will then be followed by the live battle at Playground on October 25. The WPT 500 will also award a total of 20 free tickets to the WPT Montreal Main Event, on top of the $1 million prize pool.
The winner of the Main Event will also receive the WPT Montreal championship belt, alongside a huge first-place cash prize. All starting flights for the Main Event will allow single re-entry, and those who are keen on entering the event at a much lower price can do so by taking part in a series of $360 buy-in satellites running from October 28-31, giving at least 130 players the opportunity to win their way into the Main Event.
Caribbean Poker Party Package
partypoker will be adding another level of excitement for players via its online satellite on November 3. This satellite will give players the chance to take part in the Caribbean Poker Party (CPP) for just $220.
The satellite, which allows unlimited re-entries, will give away at least three packages to the highly-anticipated CPP which is set to take place on November 15-24 in the Bahamas. The package includes holiday expenses plus a once-in-a-lifetime shot to compete for a slice of the massive $15 million in guaranteed prize pools offered at the event.
