PokerStars, the biggest online poker room in the world is very selective when it comes to who it signs on as a brand ambassador. PokerStars usually signs the best poker players in the world or top sportstars and athletes in the world.
PokerStars announced this week that it was looking to bring on board a new ambassador via its Dare 2 Stream Challenge.
The Dare 2 Stream Challenge is open to all streamers and will run from Oct 23 to Dec 17, 2021.
The winner of this challenge will the join the likes of other popular streamers such as Ben Spragg and Lex Veldhuis and be a part of Team PokerStars.
Streamers who enter the Dare 2 Stream Challenge will have to display their love for the game, how they interact with the poker community and their overall streaming skills. PokerStars is expecting a big response to this challenge as it is not everyday that the regular poker player gets a chance to become a PokerStars ambassador.
PokerStars has run the Dare 2 Stream Challenge only once before and awarded two winners with a Platinum Pass package and a prize of $1,000. This year, the prize is a lot more rewarding as players get a 12 month PokerStars brand ambassador contract.
How To Register
To take part in the Dare 2 Stream Challenge, players will have to go to PokerStars, click on the Dare 2 Stream Challenge and fill out the application form. Once they complete this, they need to join PokerStars’ public Discord server. They will then need to head over to Twitch and join ‘Team DareToStream’.
Make sure you select the mature audience option when setting up the Twitch stream. Once this is done, you now have to start streaming as much as you can during Oct 23 to Dec 17. PokerStars has put together some exciting prizes and promotions for this challenge to ensure that everyone who takes part gets something.
PokerStars will award all streamers who get in a minimum of 10 hours of live streaming a $55 ticket to a Home Game tournament that has a $5,000 guaranteed prize pool. These Home Game tournaments take place on a weekly basis till the challenge is completed.
Two streamers who have the best clips each week will be given a ticket to the Sunday Million valued at $109. Check out the PokerStars website to find out more about this promotion.
