Pokerstars: Championship of Online PokerPokerStars recently announced that it will run its Championship of Online Poker (COOP) for New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan in September.

The online poker giant confirmed that COOP will take place in all three states from Sep 10 to 27.

PokerStars will also be hosting a special World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) for international players in September.

PA COOP

Pennsylvania players have a lot of online poker action going on in September with WSOP PA running some cool tournaments. PokerStars is set to create history in the Keystone state by hosting its biggest even PA COOP.

The Pennsylvania Championship of Online Poker (PACOOP) will have a total of 69 events and will run on PokerStars PA. A combined total of $2 million in guaranteed prize money will be up for grabs. The highlight of PACOOP will be the $300 Main Event which comes with a $200K guarantee.

MI COOP

The Michigan Championship of Online Poker (MICOOP) is also expected to be the biggest COOP event. PokerStars went live in Michigan in early 2021 and continues to run some huge online poker festivals to increase its market share in the state. MICOOP will have a total of 68 events and have $1.5 million in guaranteed prize money waiting to be won.

The $300 MICOOP Main Event will be the highlight of the poker festival and comes with a $150K guaranteed prize pool. PokerStars expects both the MICOOP and PACOOP Main Events to generate a lot more than the guaranteed prize pool.

NJ COOP

The New Jersey Championship of Online Poker (NJCOOP) has run for a number of years and PokerStars is not looking to create any new records in the Garden State. A total of 60 events will take place during the 2021 NJCOOP and a $1 million guaranteed prize pool will be up for grabs.

The highlight of the NJCOOP will the $300 Main Event which carries with it a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool.

2021 COOP Info

PokerStars will be running these events as individual events in each US state and hence players should not expect any instate action during these COOP events. Players will have to be physically present within each state to be a part of the COOP online poker festival.
