PokerStars’ popular “25 Days of Tournaments”, exclusive to players across its North American markets (New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Ontario) officially kicked off on December 5.

Players in these four locations finally got to try the first tournaments running as part of the promotion, with the top finishers receiving special rewards on top of the prize pool.

Let’s take a look at what was on offer during the first day of the campaign.

PokerStars’ 25 Days of Tournaments Kicks Off

Launched in 2021, PokerStars’ 25 Days of Tournaments is held every December, coinciding with the holiday season. The promotion has been a hit among players partly due to its “surprise” element, with the new tournaments and the extra prizes that come with them only revealed a night before.

This year, the promotion runs from December 5 to 29, with the new tournaments taking place at 7:30 pm ET daily. During the first day of the promotion, players on the PokerStars USA network connecting New Jersey and Michigan competed in a Heads-Up TKO Zoom tournament which featured two buy-in tiers – $10 and $50.

The winners of the $10 and $50 tournaments in New Jersey were awarded professional sports box seats for an unnamed event, while the top two finishers in both events in Michigan each received a set of Detroit Red Wings box seats.

For its players in Pennsylvania, PokerStars offered the same Heads-Up TKO Zoom tournament available for $10 and $50. The winners took home a set of Philadelphia 76ers box seats.

Meanwhile, for its player pool in Canada – Ontario, PokerStars added a 3-Max Progressive KO Zoom event with Triple Threat. The tournament also featured buy-ins of $10 and $50. The operator set a certain chip milestone for players to reach and upon achieving that, they were awarded 25 Days of Tournaments Sat tickets which they can use to enter future events running under the promotion.

Exciting Surprises Continue

The first day of the promotion ended successfully and players can expect more new tournaments each day in the next three weeks with exciting rewards. They must visit the PokerStars lobby every 9:00 pm ET the night before to get an idea of the events they’ll get to play and the extra prizes on offer.

More prizes are up for grabs via daily and weekly freerolls which are also running throughout the promotion.
