partypoker continues to make changes it its online poker offering in an effort to offer its players the very best online poker experience. The second biggest online poker room in the world recently announced major software changes being made for its tournament players and Mac users.

Mac users should be prepared for a pleasant surprise when they login as they will find a number of major changes to their usual online poker room. The first change they will notice is that there is a racetrack and oval shape table that comes with improvised plates.

These new plates will give players the option to determine if they want to check out the amount of big blinds for each player or get to see their stack size.

There are different themes available in the new Mac software update and players can take advantage of these themes to customise the background and table. They also have the option to customise the look of their cards – both front and back. To find out how each of the themes look, players can go into their settings and check out a preview.

There are many players who like to jot down notes while the action is taking place. These players will enjoy the new colour option which allows their notes to be more prominently displayed.

Changes To Tournament Settings

partypoker has issued a permanent ban on HUD’s but the latest poker tournament software update will provide both Mac and Windows players with a number of interesting features. Players will have access to critical data such as number of players remaining, their positions and average big blinds or chip count.

Players via the ITM display which comes in multi colours will have a clear picture as to whether they are in the money or how much further they need to go to cash-in. If they find no colour visible, it means that there is more than one hundred twenty percent of the player field left to finish in the money. An amber colour tells them that there is less than one hundred and twenty percent of the playing field left to finish in the money. When the light turns green, players can rest assured that they are now in the money.

There is also a late-registration timer which gives players a countdown to let them know when the registration process finishes. Players will take a day or two to get familiar with the new software changes.
