Pokerstars: The Blowout SeriesPokerStars‘ latest Blowout tournament series has finally come to an end. The Blowout Series featured a massive $60 million guarantee across three and a half weeks of top-notch online tournament action catering to players of all levels.

Among the biggest winners to emerge at the festival was “arbaarba” from Lithuania who recently took down the $1,050 NLHE [8 Max, The Big Blowout] for $739,976 in top prize following a three-way deal.

arbaarba” was the chip leader when the final day of the event kicked off, and he was able to survive the three-hour play to take home the title.

The Lithuanian, alongside Fernando “fviana” Viana from Brazil, and Canada’s Lonnie “thx4urm0n3y” Hallett were the last three players at the final table and all of them agreed to a three-way deal, leaving the title and an extra $50,000 to play for. In the end, victory went to “arbaarba“, though runner-up “fviana” was the player who walked away with the largest payout of $771,416 as a result of the deal.

Third-place finisher “thx4urm0n3y” won $646,189 while “milanov888” finished in 4th place for $339,831 and Vlad “dariepoker” Darie took 5th place for $238,483. The event ended up awarding $6,922,000 in total prize money after attracting a total of 5,292 players and 1,630 re-entries.

The top 975 finishers walked away with at least $2,264 in prize money, and some of them were prominent names in the world of poker, including Kenny “SpaceyFCB” Hallaert (22nd, $19,991), Lex Veldhuis (30th, $14,029), and Teun “tinnoemulder” Mulder (37th, $9,845).

Big Names Take Home Blowout Series Titles

Some of the Blowout Series winners included familiar names such as Ole “wizowizo” Schemion (Blowout Series 82 – H: $2,100 NLHE[Progressive KO] 8-Max, $46,911 + $67,906 in bounties ) and Patrick “pads1161” Leonard (Blowout Series 66-H: $1,050 NLHE [8-Max, Progressive KO], $25,517 + $23,121 in bounties).

Among other popular names who won titles were Sean “Kappustahead” Ripp (Blowout Series 61-M: $215 NLHE [8-Max, Freezeout, Mini Super Tuesday SE], $47,630) and Vitor “flipmm” Castro (Blowout Series 74-M: $109 NLHE, $52,696).

Julio “jucetoor18” Torres (Blowout Series 80-H: $530 NLHE [Turbo, Progressive KO], $18,885 + $13,645 in bounties); Ami “UhhMee” Barer (Blowout Series 73-H: $215 NLHE [8-Max, Progressive KO, Freezeout], $14,700 + $3,392 in bounties); and Matt “OLD TIME GIN” Stone (Blowout Series 61-H: $2,100 NLHE [8-Max, Freezeout, Super Tuesday SE], $74,625) also enjoyed some success at the festival.
