There are just two stops left before the 888poker LIVE tour wraps up in 2023. One of the remaining stops will take place in Bucharest in August.
As usual, the Main Event serves as the main highlight of the schedule, and players may enter the tournament for as little as $0.01 via satellites on 888poker.
888poker LIVE Bucharest Schedule
Running from August 8-14, 888poker LIVE Bucharest features eight events, with buy-ins ranging from €55 to €888. The series kicks off with Day 1A of the €220 No-Limit Hold’em Opening Event, with an €88 NLHE The Turbo Deepstack also taking place on the first day.
The schedule also features a €115 PLO (August 9), €230 NLHE Mystery Bounty (August 11), €55 NLHE Ladies Event (August 12), €330 NLHE The BIG Shot (August 13) and €165 The Closer (August 14).
The series is headlined by the €888 NLHE Main Event which has four starting flights running from August 10-13. Day 2 of the tournament is scheduled for August 13, with the final action taking place on August 14.
The Main Event usually attracts huge fields, as was the case in 2022 when 272 players took part in the poker tournament, generating €192,670 in total prize pool. Slaven Popov took home the largest slice worth €35,185 following a heads-up deal with Alexandru Arnautu who walked away with €33,000. Popov also received a package to another 888poker LIVE event.
The Bucharest stop has been on the 888poker LIVE calendar since 2018, with Andrei Racolta winning the inaugural 888poker LIVE Bucharest Main Event for €71,042. The stop returned in 2021 and the Main Event was taken down by Razvan Belea for €50,000.
Main Event Satellites Available for $0.01
888poker is running satellites for the 888poker LIVE Bucharest Main Event with buy-ins starting at just $0.01. The satellites feed into the $109 main qualifiers which award $2,000 Main Event packages to winners.
