888poker has announced the launch of a brand-new tour in 2024. Named the UK Poker League (UKPL), the tour forms part of an exciting line-up of events scheduled for next year, as the operator continues its commitment to providing top-notch live tournament experiences to players across the globe.

UK Poker League Launches in 2024

888poker will run the UKPL in partnership with Grosvenor Casinos.

The tour kicks off in 2024 with a stop in Coventry (January 26-21), followed by an event in Edinburgh (February 13-18). The tour then heads to Luton (March 5-10) and Manchester (April 16-21).

The UKPL will also visit Leeds (August 27-September 1) and London (September 24-29) before returning to Coventry (October 10-21) for the final stop of the tour.

All in all, there are seven UKPL stops scheduled for 2024, each featuring seven events headlined by a £560 buy-in Main Event.

888poker LIVE 2024 – Confirmed Stops

Meanwhile, live events under the 888poker LIVE brand will continue in 2024, with the first of five confirmed stops taking place in Madrid, Spain. The Gran Via casino will play host to the action from January 22 to 29. The 2023 edition of the series saw Adrian Marin take home the Main Event title along with €92,000 in first-place prize.

Scheduled next is a stop in Bucharest, Romania which runs from March 16 to 24. Proving to be a popular poker destination, the Romanian capital has been part of the 888poker LIVE tour for many years now. In 2023, the Bucharest Main Event was won by Viorel Gavrila for €30,000 after topping 190 opponents.

The Bucharest series will be followed by a stop in Barcelona which is scheduled for May 8-20. The Spanish city is also among the flagship stops of the 888poker LIVE tour, attracting huge turnouts. Finnish player Tero Laurila is the reigning Barcelona Main Event winner, taking down the €1,100 tournament for €64,000 this year.

The remaining 2024 stops will be in the UK, with the first one taking place in London Victoria from August 14 to 25. The tour then wraps up its 2024 season with an event in Coventry which runs from October 10 to 21.
