UB is one of the online poker sites who’s life ended in the wake of Black Friday. Players who were a part of this site were the quickest to realize that their money is as good as gone. And since then, all the pent up anger has been directed in Full Tilt’s direction. Even though most agree they still merit the heat they are receiving from the public. But since UB was essentially forgotten after Black Friday, there has not been much news to report until now. Recently, player information was posted on the Two Plus Two Poker blog site. The post remained on the site for no more than 10 minutes but it is undoubtedly true that many people had gained access to the link to view the information. The host site for the player information link has since been terminated which can possibly suppress the spread of this info. The good news about this whole situation is that nothing too pertinent or private was posted. Player account numbers were posted, but those accounts were linked to UB and had nothing to do with player’s personal bank accounts. The other components that were available for public view were the player’s full name, their phone number, their mailing address, IP Address, Date of Birth, various site statuses (Blacklist, VIP, Affiliate), and the way which you deposited funds to your account (credit card, wire transfer, etc.). Most of the possible results that stem from this leak end up being no more than possible spam emails or phone calls. Subject:Poker reported that the information was badly labeled and arranged which made it very difficult to comprehend. The majority of the accounts that were leaked were from the US, about 3.5 million. 300,000 more accounts were said to be Canadian, and the United Kingdom had around 100,000 accounts posted. 1 million more accounts were leaked from other unspecified countries throughout the world. Since no considerably personal information, like bank accounts, social security numbers, or credit card numbers, were leaked, there is no reason to be too worried.
