The anticipation for the Premier League Group V is building, and very recently the two separate groups have been announced. There will be 16 total players in the $125,000 buy-in event and they will be split into two groups of 8. So far the field is filled with big name players. 14 of the spots are filled up to this point and with today’s qualifiers the field will be completely set. The tournament kicks off this Wednesday and lasts 7 days up until April 10th.Some of the big names in this tournament include Tony G from Ukraine who is in the same group as Phil Laak from the US and Luke Schwartz, a newer player from England. The field is full of players from the US but our female audience may be disappointed to see only one female in the tournament. The only lady that is set to be in the field is Vanessa Selbst. The hope is not over for the ladies in the tournament though because Xuan Liu and Melanie Weisner will both be trying to earn the final two spots.People will be coming to Vienna, Austria over the next few weeks for a fun-filled time of poker. Not only will the PartyPoker Premier League V be in town for a week, but a World Poker Tour event will have a stop there too. The prize money that is up to be won is monstrous and fans and players alike are gearing up for an intense few weeks in Austria.
