2023 PokerStars MicroMillions – The Stats So Far

MicroMillions ran from July 2 to 16, featuring a total of 208 events with buy-ins ranging from $1.10-$55. There’s $4 million guaranteed across two weeks of online action, with the schedule featuring a wide array of formats and variants.

In the end, and not surprisingly, the $22 buy-in Main Event attracted the largest field with a total of 27,863 entries to create the biggest prize pool of the series worth $557,260, higher than its initial guarantee of $500,000. The tournament, which was played as a progressive knockout, was won by Deathcube77 from Greece for $34,344 in total prizes, including bounties.

Coming in second to the Main Event in terms of prize pool was Event 204: $55 buy-in, $250K GTD High Roller which awarded $293,300 in total prizes after pulling in 5,866 entries. It was taken down by Peru’s Figalex25 who walked away with the biggest first-place prize of $41,687.

Multiple events went above their guarantees by at least 40%, awarding five- to six-figure prize pools.

In terms of field size, even during the last stages of the Pokerstars series, online players kept coming in droves, with several events in the final week recording more than 11,000 entries, such as Event 186: $11 buy-in, $80K GTD Saturday Special (11,868 entries) and Event 205: $5.50 buy-in, $50K GTD PKO (12,067 entries).

RyFF247 from Austria emerged as the only multiple winner throughout the series, winning two titles for two consecutive days. The player won a $5.50 PKO for $2,478 on July 12 and then followed it up with another win in a $5.50 PKO Big Knockouts event on July 13 for $2,321.

Brazil Continues Domination

Brazil has continued its tradition of winning the most titles at MicroMillions each year. Brazilians captured a total of 52 titles, dominating the entire series. The UK came in second with 23, followed by Germany with 12. Ukraine got 9, while Argentina, Canada, and Romania won 8 titles apiece. Belarus recorded 7 wins, while Austria, Ireland, and Kazakhstan had 6 each.
